This app allows quick and intuitive access to most EDCTP publications regarding its activities and the projects it funds. The app offers a mobile library of EDCTP’s digital resources:
- EDCTP quarterly newsletter (latest issue; available in English, French and Portuguese)
- Project Portfolio, a technical compendium of all EDCTP funded projects (full search facilities; updated regularly)
- EDCTP Annual Reports (by year; available in English, French and Portuguese)
- Proceedings of most events organised by EDCTP.
The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) is a partnership between 16 European countries, the European Union and sub-Saharan African countries.
EDCTP was created in 2003 as a European response to the global health crisis caused by the three main poverty-related diseases of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
The aim of the programme is to accelerate the development of new and improved drugs, vaccines, microbicides and diagnostics against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria and to build research capacity in sub-Saharan Africa.
